Background:
Residential job at a private home, which also functioned as the client’s work-from-home office. Reliable internet access was essential for their business operations.

The Problem:
The day before Christmas, the client suddenly lost all internet connectivity, preventing them from working from home. Another electrical contractor had already attended but was unable to identify or resolve the issue, leaving the client stressed and concerned.

Our Response:
Although we had officially closed for the Christmas break, we prioritised the urgency of the situation and attended. Using our methodical fault-finding process and specialist knowledge of fibre-optic cabling and internet systems, we accurately identified the fault and restored the connection.

The Outcome:
Internet access was fully restored, allowing the client to continue working from home without disruption over the Christmas period. We also provided a clear plan to prevent future outages by protecting the fibre-optic cabling from damage.
