Case Study – LED Lighting Refresh

Client: Commonwealth bank (Regional branch)

Background:
The branch required a full lighting refresh to replace all existing fittings, including fluorescent, LED, exit and emergency lighting, to establish a consistent lighting baseline and meet brand standards going forward.

The Problem:
A full lighting refresh was needed but needed to be done in a safe and timely matter, that would not disrupt the day to day business operations.

Our Response:
We completed a full LED lighting refresh across all fitting types (including exits and emergencies), with all works scheduled outside branch operating hours and sequenced to ensure the branch was clean, fully operational, and brand-ready before opening each day. LUX levels were recorded before and after the upgrade to verify that light reaching all work surfaces met the requirements for a banking environment.

The Outcome:
Works were completed within the weekend windows with zero disruption to branch operations. The branch opened on time and in a condition consistent with the client’s brand standards. LUX testing confirmed that all areas achieved adequate, safe and comfortable illumination levels, supporting staff productivity, minimising eye strain and fatigue, and reducing the risk of accidents.
